Vishwa Santhi Sri Yagam

Om Asmathgurubhyonamah!

Jeeyar Educational Trust USA Inc. (JET USA Inc.)  has taken up the noble task of conducting Viswa Santhi Sri Yagam at JEEYAR ASRAM, 222 Dey Road, Cranbury, New Jersey, USA from 23rd July 2010 to 1st Aug 2010 for a period of 9 days.

At present we are crossing through a tough time across the globe in terms of economic recession, natural calamities, and people are leading their life in a much unsecured manner in many parts of the world. Nature is also showing her pain in different forms like floods, cyclones or earthquakes and Tsunamis etc. To pacify the nature and to make ourselves strong and active with our duties and also to neutralize the economic issues, it is required to offer prayers to the Almighty through Sri (Goddess Lakshmi), who protects us, with compassion. She is the personification of all the benevolent qualities (Kalyaana Gunas) of Almighty (The Purusha), who creates, sustains, and perishes the Universe. But, to clearly identify that Almighty, we have to worship Sri dwelling in him. “Hri:schate: Lakshmi:scha pathnayow” says Purusha Suktha.

Prayer is a powerful way of attaining eternal bliss. Though there are different ways of offering prayers, we have chosen a time tested process recommended by Vedas, the Havan (Yajna or Yagam). As described in Agamas and Agamasamhitas of Veda, Fire is the media for offering the prayers (Ahuti’s) for world peace and prosperity. Veda says “Yajno: vai vishnuhu”, meaning Lord Vishnu has to be worshipped by all the Yajnas, as he is the supreme power ruling this Universe. Hence, we are conducting Viswa Santhi Sri Yagam for world peace and prosperity as our motto is to “Serve all beings as Service to God”.

Secondly, we are conducting Nakshatra Homa for 27 Asterisms, with 27 Kundas (Altars), as all human beings are born under one of the 27 time zones (Nakshatras). By participating in this Homa of their respective Nakshatra, one can become healthy, wealthy and prosperity in material life as well.

Thirdly, a few ishti’s to fulfill the special desires of devotees will be provided in addition to the 27 Nakshatra Kunda’s. They are for fulfilling the desires like good health, wealth, children, education, success in all endeavors of life etc.

Participate in this noble activity:

  1. By sponsoring one or many of the events.
  2. By volunteering after signing up online at www.jetusa.org or at www.jetnewjersey.org
  3. By participating directly in Nakshatra Homa’s or Ishti Homa’s.
  4. By writing Sri Manthra more than 108 times and sending it to the venue directly or through volunteers in the format provided.

This is an open invitation for all seekers, who wants to enjoy peace and flourish in their material life, also to pave way for ultimate goal of achieving eternal bliss and material prosperity through our beloved Acharya, HH Sri Tridandi Chinnajeeyar Swamiji. Every little we do in promoting such Yajnam will multiply manifold and helps us, generations to come and the world at large to enjoy the grace of Supreme God.
